It is funny how many of us are ignorant about so many things until you actually run into the situation or have to look it up for some reason. For example, I never knew that keeping a patient’s clinical record requires one to have gone through some medical coding training courses.
I mean wow, all along I just thought that the codes on the medical records just came with hands on training. Now I know there are more to that. I wonder if nurses have to cover this subject too, gee, if so, there are so many things for a nurse to study about.
I could never see myself as a nurse. Not because I dislike helping others but getting the proper qualifications part really deters me.
