My DD will be turning four in a few month’s time. Yet she still does not pick up her toys no matter how many times we have asked her nicely, scolded and threatened to discard her toys.
Sigh, hopefully as she grows in age, she will be more sensible in putting away her things once she has finished playing or using them. It’s the same with her books, pencils and other stationeries. They are just scattered in our study room floor.
So for now, we stick to our policy of not buying her new toys or stationeries unless absolutely necessary.
If by the time she starts kindergarten and she is still reluctant to clean up, boy oh boy, will it drive me up the wall!
